Project MOKYS

Project MOKYS

VÝVOJ Martin, a.s. participates in the project of the Mobile Communication System of the Slovak Armed Forces in cooperation with BAE Systems as the main designer, integrator and creator of the design and construction documentation for the entire system.

The MOKYS project ensures the safe transmission of information in the form of voice, data or images at the operational and tactical level of the command of the armed forces. The system can also be used to support the strategic command or in NATO's command structures. MOKYS is designed as a modular, highly mobile system, independent of force configuration changes.

The system includes 3 types of container platforms, the Slovak TATRAPAN vehicle and a mobile short-wave station, located on an RG32M armored vehicle with reinforced anti-mine protection.

The interoperability and technical maturity of the MOKYS project was verified at the largest and most prestigious international exercise of connection specialists COMBINED ENDEAVOR 2008 in Germany. This exercise was aimed at testing and documenting the interoperability of communication and information systems used by individual NATO/PzM member countries and other participating countries. Testing confirmed that the MOKYS project is among the most technically advanced systems within NATO. The MOKYS project was also awarded the GRAND PRIX IDEB 2008.
